Camelot engaged the services of our sister company, Incentive FM Consultancy in early 2018 and since then Incentive Workspace have assisted at different levels in new projects within their complex business.
Firstly at the Northampton distribution centre, we project managed the delivery and installation of an entirely new conveyor product distribution and dispatch system – here we were the interface between the chosen contractor and the delivery of the new system – on time and to budget.
Our second project was to provide support to Camelot Global, a sister company to Camelot UK and one that provides consultancy and lottery systems technology to other lotteries around the world. In their move to new premises in London, we were engaged to meet teams from two separate locations (Watford and London) and determine through stakeholder engagement the necessary working spaces and interdepartmental dependencies of the business. The project was to further confirm the best use of flexing space to accommodate their fluctuating project team sizes and make the most economic and practical use of meeting, briefing and training spaces. This work resulted in various test fit and indicative designs which were able to be used in the subsequent fixed price design and build project for the office.
Our third project has been to restack and refit one of the three principal buildings within the head office complex at Watford. Moor House has been fully re-evaluated by our design team to optimise the space usage and functionality of this hitherto rather tired but structurally sound eighteen year old building of some 22,000 ft2 over three floors. The project on an open book and partnership model is one that we fully approve of and involves the design and installation of new coffee bar and break out areas, as well as conventional flexible office space, a 24/7 lottery call centre and meeting spaces. The finished building will have upgraded M&E systems and a mixture of previously used modern and new furniture.
