SWC are excited to be working closely with our client partners at the brand-new Verde SW1 development in Victoria, where all the teams are busy preparing the building for practical completion. The security and cleaning teams began working on-site in September to begin to write procedures, learn the building and carry out ‘sparkle’ cleans before PC in October. At the time of going to print our site-based security manager, loading bay manager, housekeeping supervisor and team are looking forward to increasing service across the coming months as the building becomes more and more populated.
The services being provided to the landlord-managed areas of the 12-storey glass building include daily housekeeping services, window cleaning via BMU, WTP and rope access, 24/7 manned guarding, waste management, washroom services, pest control and consumables supply. Our approach to the mobilisation has been to provide development opportunities to staff within the business, with the security manager, housekeeping supervisor and housekeeping team all being existing members of staff who have excelled in other contracts who have demonstrated an appetite for progression. We are proud that we have been able to install a team that understands the SWC culture and how we provide service, which we know will ensure the tenants of Verde will receive a first-class experience from the day they move in.
